The Trust |
The Rutland Boughton Music Trust was established in 1978 as a registered charity to
encourage and support performances and, more particularly, to sponsor recordings of
Boughton's finest works.
The Trust's financial resources depend mainly upon royalties generated by
performances and broadcasts of Boughton's music as well as the generous donations
offered from individuals and other charitable organisations, without which it would
not be possible to achieve our objectives.
We are not a membership organisation but we are grateful for any donations received.
In doing so, you may be assured that all funds are used exclusively to further our
declared aims; the administration of the Trust is carried out on an entirely
voluntary basis. Our Newsletter provides frequent news on events we are organising
or which have taken place and features articles of historical interest. the
Newsletter can be downloaded from this site free of charge (see under Newsletter) or
sent via post for an annual fee of £5. Please write or email for further details.
Our Objectives:-
- to sponsor commercial recordings of Boughton's finest works
- to encourage performances of Boughton's music
- have printed unpublished works
